The JouleBox Power Station is made up of three solar panels to start the unit, lithium-ion batteries to power motors, motors to power a wind turbine, the wind turbine powers generators and the generators produce 60 kW of electricity while they also keep the batteries charged at all times. Its “brains” are inside a cabinet at the one end on the unit, called the Power Q. The Power Q has its own IP address and allows for 24/7 monitoring of numerous factors including harmonic distortion and kilowatt being used. Some of the components are manufactured by top contract manufacturers like Baldor ABB, Marathon Generators, BMZ batteries, among others. There is a proprietary motor whose magnets can each lift 1000 pounds, and produces torque equal to motors three times its size. Of the many components, three have patents pending.
